National Donor Sabbath November 11-13, 2016
What is National Donor Sabbath?
National Donor Sabbath is observed annually, two weekends before Thanksgiving, from Friday through Sunday. This three-day observance seeks to include the days of worship for major religions practiced in the United States. During National Donor Sabbath, faith leaders from many religions, with donor families, transplant recipients, and donation and transplantation professionals, participate in services and programs to educate the public about the need for donation and the importance of registering one’s decision to be an organ, eye and tissue donor.
May 5th – Legacy Donor Foundation – Donate Now
Give Nola Day
As GiveNOLA Day nears closer, your inbox may be overflowing with emails from many deserving New Orleans nonprofits seeking your support. Our team at Legacy Donor Foundation would LOVE for you to keep us in mind as you consider making a donation tomorrow (May 5) on GiveNOLA Day. Instead of buying a cup of coffee tomorrow morning make a donation instead – every dollar counts, big or small.
If you plan to give, please consider Legacy Donor Foundation. Every dollar donated to Legacy, from 12:01 am to midnight, on May 5th will be increased with additional “lagniappe” dollars provided by the Greater New Orleans Foundation and generous GiveNOLA Day sponsors!
Louisiana currently has over 1,990 men, women and children waiting on life-saving organ transplants. Sadly 40% of those waiting are under the age of 50. The need is real and every donation matters! This is a great way to give a little so Legacy can do a lot!

March 7, 2015
Patron Party: 6:30PM – 7:30PM
Event: 7:30PM – ‘Til
This year, Legacy Donor Foundation is hosting its 16th Soul Revival Celebration of LIFE on March 7th, 2015 and we want you to join us for this exciting milestone event! We have both been a part of Soul Revival since the very beginning. So, it is an honor for us to co-chair the 2015 Soul Revival!
Annually, Soul Revival raises important funds to support the Legacy Donor Foundation’s mission of public awareness and provides education for organ, eye and tissue donation. Just like in its inception year, we need your support as we gather together to once again help thousands of people in Louisiana who anxiously await a “Revival” of their own.
We, along with our Honorary Chairs David Briggs and Mark Romig, ask that you please support our mission by completing the enclosed sponsorship form. As Legacy Donor Foundation’s founder (and Mullady’s father), David Voelker always joked, “You can’t take it with you when you go!” So, in his honor, please mark your calendars for Soul Revival 2015 on Saturday, March 7th and join us in supporting the mission of Legacy Donor Foundation.
“Revival” is indeed a good word, because that is what we intend to do, bring this year’s party back to Third Street. So, mark your calendar for March 7th 2015, and come bear witness to a Revival of Souls that has kept people coming back year after year. We encourage you to join the celebration by completing the online registration below.
